The Global Adviser-Gender Policy at HelpAge International will provide thought leadership, advocacy, technical support on gender-related issues, collaborating across portfolios, regional teams and stakeholders to identify and develop new gender-specific partnerships and collaborations, engage with the women’s rights movement, and maintain relationships with agencies working on gender equality.
The ideal candidate should possess substantial experience in gender advocacy and mainstreaming, a degree or equivalent experience in gender-related fields, knowledge of gender-based issues in development and humanitarian contexts, and experience working with women’s rights organizations and gender equality movements.
