HelpAge International is seeking a consultant to lead its project team for mainstreaming Urban Ecosystem-Based Adaptation in Age-friendly Cities and Communities policy frameworks in Latin America. This consultancy is expected to start from October 2024 and end by March 2026 with the possibility of extension up to September 2026. It will be part-time for up to 18 months, with the number of days to be agreed with the selected consultant but requiring a minimum of 4 days per month.
The ideal consultant should possess but not limited to demonstrable experience in all aspects of Project Cycle Management, including MEAL and donor reporting, excellent team coordination and facilitation skills, including their remote delivery and proven ability to work collaboratively and dependably with colleagues and in a way that encourages experimentation, learning and agency, especially among community-based partner organisations.
Interested consultants are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). The consultant will be selected by a panel. Submitted EoIs will be reviewed according to the selection criteria, the suitability of the proposed approach and financial stewardship considerations. Final selection will be made by 6 September 2024 following interviews with shortlisted consultants in w/c 2 September 2024.

- A short cover letter addressing the selection criteria and indicating daily consultancy rate, inclusive of any local taxes (if required).
- Consultant CV highlighting relevant experience
- An example of recent written work undertaken by the consultant relating to age-friendly cities and communities and/or ecosystem-based adaptation.
