HelpAge International is seeking a consultant to conduct a rapid gender review and analysis for its AFD InuaJamii70+ project. The consultant’s tasks shall include desk review, analysis, and dissemination of findings, with deliverables of a draft and final report along with a presentation. The AFD InuaJamii70+ project is aimed at enhancing social protection for older individuals in Nairobi, Kenya, which is concluding in June 2024. It incorporates innovative strategies like blending cash transfers with health insurance and leveraging technology for accessibility.
The ideal consultant should possess a Master’s degree in relevant fields and at least 5 years of experience in gender mainstreaming and program implementation within development projects as well as experience working in the development projects, with international partners and national stakeholders.
