The HelpAge network was established in 1983 to share ideas and resources, and build joint platforms to press for change.
The network links 80 affiliates across Africa, the Caribbean, East and South Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe and Central Asia, helping to share experience and influence policy.
To develop programmes and influence policy even further, we also work with 180 other partners worldwide. Click the map to find out more.
We provide training to members, support the development of national and regional networks, and help build partnerships with governments and non-governmental organisations (NGOs), at local, national and international levels.
In countries where conflict, disaster or economic transition have created particularly difficult situations, we run emergency programmes to support some of the most vulnerable older people.
