The Municipal Nursing Home, Port-au-Prince, was destroyed by the Haiti earthquake.

Strong and fragile

HelpAge International has carried out a review the humanitarian community’s current policies and practice relating to older people for the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) Working Group.

Recommendations for improvement are made in the UNFPA-funded report, Strong and fragile.
